Partner Status
What is a Direct Partner?
Direct Partners (DP) in IPCEI EuBatIn are companies and projects that have been notified by the European Commission and form the core of IPCEI EuBatIn.
Who is the National Authority?
The National Authority consists of representatives of the European Member States already involved in the IPCEI EuBatIn or with potential Associated Partners. In addition, the National Authority also includes organisations responsible for the coordination of the IPCEI or for the national processing of the IPCEI.
What is an Associated Partner?
An Associated Partner (AP) is a company or research institution that is participating in the IPCEI EuBatIn and its battery ecosystem with a specific project.
Through their participation as APs, companies and research institutions gain access to one of the largest pan-European consortia and innovation-driven ecosystems in the battery sector. The eligibility for meeting participation gained through this partner status enables access and contact to potential suppliers and customers, as well as receiving information and contributing to the consortium's goals.
Unlike Direct Partners, the participation in the IPCEI as an AP is not automatically linked to IPCEI-related funding.
Please find more information on the rights, duties of an AP and requirements to become an AP here: Rights and duties of Associated Participants & procedure and requirements to become an Associated Participant (PDF)
