Travelling to the event
We recommend that you travel to the following stations on the public transport network:
- Schwedenplatz (U1, U4)
- Landstraße (U3, U4, S-Bahn)
- Praterstern (U1, U2, S-Bahn)
- Hintere Zollamtstraße (tram 1, 2)
Check-in upon arrival
When you arrive at the Ministry, you will find a registration desk in the entrance area. Our staff will ask you to present your ID card for verification so that we can issue you with your name badge. This badge is your admission ticket to the Ministry on all days. After entering the ministery you will be guided the Festsaal where the event will take place.
Hotel situation
We recommend that you handle your hotel booking as soon as possible. There are several major events taking place in Vienna at the same time as our event, which will limit the number of rooms available and increase the price of accommodation accordingly.
For good connections, we recommend that you choose an accommodation that is either close to the Ministry or to the following underground lines (U1, U3, U4). Hotels near the main railway station, the Westbahnhof or in the first, upper second and third district fall into this category in any case.
